Is CS Education Broken?

Is CS Education broken globally?? YES and NO!

Just studying CS for the sake of a computer science job doesn't make sense. I was doing games development and programming a couple of years before my computer science degree.

Similarly, someone I know studied Mechanical engineering with a focus on Materials - worked in the industry with a focus on data crunching, and eventually did a Master's degree to double upon that knowledge to start a job in computers before her degree finished!

This is the way! Don't go into CS to "get a job". Go into CS because you enjoy working with computers and want to learn more about how they work!
